Sharing a Video via Video Link

Overview

Amplify offers quick and easy options to help you share your videos with your audience. When video templates are created, your organization also selects the sharing options available to you. If your organization has enabled video links, you'll see that option listed among the available sharing methods.

A video link can point to one of the following:

• A SundaySky-hosted landing page: This is a branded webpage designed by your organization where viewers can watch the video. Like the video template, the landing page is built to offer a consistent and on-brand viewing experience.
   
• An embedded video on your own webpage: Your organization can embed the video on any webpage using code. When shared via video link, the recipient will be directed to that specific web location where the video is embedded.

Each recipient receives a unique URL for their version of the video, even when the same template is used for multiple recipients. These personalized links can be shared via email, messaging apps, social media, or any other communication channel.

Sharing the Video Link

1.	In the sharing step, make sure that Video Link is selected on the left side of the screen.
2.	Click Get video link at the bottom right.
	Once the video link is generated, the Share video link dialog window appears.
3.	(Optional but recommended) Click Test to generate a preview URL of the video link.
	Important: Use only the Test link when you want to preview how the page looks. Views from the test link are not counted in the Video Activity metrics. This ensures accurate reporting based only on recipient views.
4.	When you're ready to share the link with your recipient, click Copy.
5.	Paste the copied URL into an email, messaging app, or any other communication channel. ▶ If you need to access the URL again, you can always find it on the Video Activity page by opening the Options menu.
6.	Click Finished sharing to complete the process. ▶ This button becomes active only after you've clicked Copy.
