Overview
The Video Activity page in Amplify provides you with a clear and organized view of all the videos you've created, and how recipients have interacted with them. For each video, you'll see key engagement metrics that help you understand the impact of your content.
This page makes it easy to track how people are responding to your videos. If a recipient hasn't viewed their video yet, Amplify will prompt you to consider re-sharing it. Based on the insights you see, you may also decide to take follow-up actions outside of Amplify.
In addition to engagement metrics, this page is also where you can take quick actions on each video, such as duplicating it or sharing it again.
Video Activity is accessed from the sidebar. Your most recent video activity also appears on the home page.
Note:
If a video was shared using the MP4 download option, viewer metrics won't be available. However, you can still use all the quick actions related to that video.
Viewing Your Video Activity
The Video Activity page shows a list of all the videos you've created, with one row for each video. Each row includes important details to help you track engagement at a glance. Use the tabs below to learn about each column.
The name of the individual or group with whom the video was shared. This information is captured during the video creation process when you enter recipient details. If you also provided additional information—such as company name or location—it will be displayed here as well.
When a recipient is actively viewing the video, an eye icon appears in place of their initials.
Hovering over the recipient's initials displays a play button you can use to preview the video.
The date and time on which the video was created.
The icon in this column indicates the method that was used for sharing.
The name of the template used to create the video.
The percentage of the video that was watched by the recipient.
If the video was viewed more than once, a number appears inside the circle to indicate the total number of views. This may mean the original recipient watched the video multiple times or shared it with others who also viewed it.
If 24 hours have passed since you shared the video and the recipient has not yet watched, you'll be prompted to re-share it.
The total number of times a button was clicked across all views of the video. This includes multiple clicks by the same viewer if the video was watched more than once.
If the video does not include a button, an icon in this column will indicate that none is present.
Quick Actions
Quick actions are available from the Options menu, which you can access by clicking the three dots at the end of each row.
The following three actions are available:
Duplicate video: Creates a copy of the video using the same content and personalization details. You can make changes before sharing it again.
Re-share with Original Recipient: Shares the video again with the original recipient, which can be useful as a reminder if they haven't viewed it yet. When re-sharing, you can select a different sharing method than the one originally used.
Access Video: This action varies based on how the video was originally shared:
- View email template: displays the email template, which you can use to copy the subject and body again.
- View video link: displays the link, which you can copy and share again. Any views using this link will be counted toward the % Viewed metrics.
- Download again: allows you to download the video file again.
