Analytics: Tracking Performance Across Templates and Accounts

Overview

Amplify Template Analytics provides aggregated dashboards that let template editors, viewers, and account owners track how templates perform. Analytics are available at two levels: an account-level dashboard covering all templates, and a template-level Analyze tab focused on a single template.

Accessing the Dashboards

  • For account-level analytics, open the Analytics tab and select Amplify Templates.
  • For a single template, open the template's Analyze tab.

The Account-Level Dashboard

By default, the dashboard shows the last 30 days, all contributors, and all templates. You can adjust the view using the date range filter, contributor filter, and template filter. Period-over-period indicators show how each metric compares to the previous period.

The dashboard includes:

  • An overview of Amplify videos: how many videos were created, with the trend versus the previous period.
  • A funnel of video views, button views, and button clicks, with the drop-off at each stage.
  • Active contributors in the account. If you have more than five, you can switch between most and least active.
  • Templates used, including how many templates were used and the sharing method.
  • An activity-over-time chart tracking videos created, templates used, and active contributors. Granularity can be changed to weekly or monthly.
  • A sortable template performance table showing the published status, video metrics, completion rate, and button clicks for each template.

The Template-Level Analyze Tab

The Analyze tab on an individual template shows a similar layout focused on that template, with a date filter and contributor filter. It includes a funnel for the template, additional metrics such as minutes viewed, completion rate, and sharing method, and an activity-over-time chart focused on engagement.

The template performance table here shows results per recipient, including who the video was shared with, the sharing method, the completion rate, and button clicks. You can also drill down by contributor.
